  • 03:15 – Three fifteen (три пятнадцать).
  • 04:35 – Four thirty-five (четыре тридцать пять).

  • 11:00 – Eleven o’clock (одиннадцать часов).
  • 10:00 – Ten o’clock (десять часов).

  • It is five twenty-five AM. –
  • It’s ten thirty PM. –

In military GMT is known as Zulu time.Greenwich Mean Time was the same as Universal Time (UT), until the introduction of UTC in 1972 a standard astronomical concept used in many technical fields.

  • ET — Северноамериканское Восточное Время — UTC/GMT -5:00;
  • EST — Северноамериканское Восточное Стандартное Время — UTC-5;
  • CEST — Центральноевропейское Летнее Время — UTC+2;
  • CET — Центральноевропейское Стандартное Время — UTC+1;
  • PT — Северноамериканское Тихоокеанское Время — UTC/GMT -8:00;

У начинающих путаница часто возникает в выражениях “через час” (in an hour), “в девять часов” (at nine o’clock) и т. п.

What time do you close?
What are your working hours?

He always arrives on

Можно сказать просто «it is 5».
